"Christmas in Clinton" Festive Open House
Enjoy the Adam Stanton House & General Store yuletide decorations as you take a self guided tour through the museum during “Christmas in Clinton” Open House on Sun., Dec. 3rd from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. Docents will be on hand in candlelit rooms to answer your questions about this historic c. 1791 museum. Light refreshments will be served.
There’s more to enjoy on the outside too! Warm yourself around a bonfire on the General Store lawn while listening to the Chester Fife & Drum Corps perform from 1:30 - 2:30 pm. Then join in the fun as The Stanton Singers perform and lead sing-along-caroling from 3:00 - 4:00 pm. “Reindeer Food”, aka birdseed, will be available (with a donation).
The Adam Stanton House would like to thank the Chester Fife & Drum Corps, The Stanton Singers, the Arbor Garden Club of Clinton, and our docent volunteers for donating their time and talents this year.
“Help Keep the Museum Warm this Winter!” All Open House donations will benefit the museum’s annual $25,000+ operational expenses which include fuel, utility, and insurance costs among others.
